Welcome to Valley View Kindergarten

With pride and pleasure, we welcome your child and family to Valley View Kindergarten.

Learning is the heart of everything we do at Valley View Kindergarten. Together we will plan for your child’s individual interests, needs and abilities. We will provide a safe, stimulating environment where your child will have the opportunity to develop a positive self-concept of themselves as a learner and the life skills essential to participate fully in society now and in the future.

We provide a play based curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework to support all children’s development towards achieving learning outcomes in collaboration with families, service providers and agencies. Through play, children develop positive attitudes to learning, effective communication, social competence, emotional well-being, physical competence, literacy and numeracy.

We believe that children learn best in an environment which fosters reciprocal relationships between the educator and the child that both support and challenge the child’s learning; is sensitive to individual children and is focused on interactive teaching to foster curiosity, exploration, self-motivation, active engagement and a willingness to take risks and try new things.
